MIGUEL F. VIDAL, NEW DIRECTOR OF THE GASTRONOMIC AREA OF CIDH GALICIA

The CIDH – International Hotel Managers’ Circle is pleased to announce the appointment of Miguel F. Vidal as Director of the Gastronomy Area in the Presidency of the CIDH in Galicia. This appointment is part of the process of expansion and consolidation of the CIDH as a world reference in the union of hotel management professionals.

Miguel is a young man from A Coruña who graduated from the CSHG- Centro Superior de Hostelería de Galicia (Galician Hotel Management School), with extensive experience in different restaurants in his homeland and in other countries (his time at DiverXo stands out). In 2017 he ventured to open his first business in Madrid and since then he has not stopped growing. He is currently adding a Galician cuisine workshop to his restaurant, combining it as a private chef and successfully advising restaurants. On the other hand, in 2022, he became an Ambassador of Galicia and was awarded the Galicia Gastronomy Award 2021.

In his position as Director of the Gastronomic Area of the CIDH in Galicia, Miguel F. Vidal will be in charge of directing and coordinating all aspects related to gastronomy in the region. This includes contributing to the establishment of food quality standards and compliance with local and national regulations, leading the development of new products and promoting innovation in the Galician gastronomy industry. In addition, as director he will promote the gastronomic culture of Galicia beyond its borders.

The CIDH is confident that the addition of Miguel F. Vidal to the CIDH management team in Galicia will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the organisation.
