The International Hotel Managers’ Circle (CIDH) is honoured to present its Vice President Joaquim Janer, a professional of recognised and excellent trajectory with 50 years of experience in our profession.
His experience is based in the field of hotel organisation and catering, he worked as a teacher at the School of Hotel Management and Tourism of Sant Pol de Mar (ESTUR).
As a manager, he has developed his position in different Spanish hotel areas and later as general manager of operations in several national and international chains. In the 1990s, he began his challenge in the Dominican Caribbean, Cuba, Mexico, Panama and other countries as General Manager of international hotel companies, returning to Spain to co-found and hold the position of CEO of an international chain, later being appointed Deputy Director to the Presidency of the same group.
In addition to holding the position of Vice President of the CIDH, Joaquim Janer has held leadership roles in several hotel tourism organisations, including the Presidency of the hotel industry in Almeria (ASEMPAL) and the shared Vice Presidency of ZONTUR.
Among other appointments, we highlight his position as Consul of Sweden, the Silver Medal for Tourism Merit and the National Ignasi Domenech Award.
